This country property underwent a major transformation, turning an old backsplit style home into a spacious, modern haven. The objective was to create an open concept space with a tall, vaulted ceiling, a large kitchen with seating for 12 or more, and a cozy family room with a fireplace and large screen TV.

To achieve this, the walls were raised, and a new roof was installed. The garage was repurposed into a family room with a fireplace and TV area. The kitchen now boasts a 28-ft span, complete with a 15-ft island equipped for cooking and entertaining.

The design concept combines rustic and modern elements, giving rise to an "urban country" aesthetic. Matte Graphite Grey flat doors complement Rustic Oak cabinetry, while matte concrete countertops and Paramount Quartzite accents add sophistication.

The kitchen features a range of conveniences, including a workstation sink, extra ovens, beverage fridge, and ample storage options such as deep drawers, pull-out spice cabinets, and tray dividers.

In the dining room, a tall display cabinet with glass shelves adds a touch of elegance. The family room's focal point is an 8-ft x 10-ft stone fireplace, contributing to the rustic yet modern ambiance.
